How to cook

Simmer beef mince with a little milk until rich and saucy. Season to taste.
Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and a splash of milk until smooth.
Spoon the beef into an ovenproof dish, top with mash and fork the surface for crisp edges.
Bake at 200°C for 25 minutes until bubbling and golden. Serve with warmed garden peas.
